Paying and wasting your time to not only get worse performance but worse battery life as well. On top of that, don’t you have to update the bios or something with every update? DeckHD isn’t even close to the OLED, and I personally wouldn’t bother with it on an LCD model.
I mean it is not so much about those who already purchased DeckHD but about those who will not (even if it has 1200p neglecting all the disadvantages).
TBH if I just bought one, like, within the last month or two, I would be quite upset since there is now a 90Hz OLED screen variant with better battery, which would roughly cost around the same as a SD + the Deck HD.
DeckHD is still 1200p, don’t think anyone who installed one is regretting their purchase much.

The only reason I don’t want one IS 1200p.
