I ordered Bilstein B6’s to replace the rear struts on an older C class. Fronts were done a year ago with B6’s. Well my dumb self only ordered one strut thinking I ordered two.

The rear driver side has a parking break issue I need to fix tomorrow - I was thinking about putting the new strut in while I had that side opened up.

Would be be advisable to wait a week for the second strut to come in to do both sides? Or will it be fine to do the second strut a week later? I drive this car like a grandma.

Thanks.

It’s always suggested to replace any suspension components in pairs. I would personally wait if the originals aren’t in such bad shape.

You should be fine waiting a week, but for the most part if something has a left and a right side, you should be replacing both at the same time- if one goes, the other is closing on the end of its lifespan.
The only exceptions I can think of are rims, rotors and axles.
