Hey there, everyone. As I’m sure most of you did, I updated to 3.5.5 when it hit the Stable channel yesterday.

Ever since, my right trackpad has been behaving weirdly.

The haptics are noticeably smaller and quieter.

It also does not seem to be moving as quickly as it had been before the update.

The truly weird part is that it was thinking I was clicking whenever I moved the right trackpad at all, but this part went away after I went into Desktop Mode.

Anyone else encountering this after the OS update?

Same issue here. Right trackpad seems to be “drifting” or inputting constantly and changing my games from gamepad to kbm intermittently its so annoying. Whenever I use the trackpad itself it works almost normally (minus the less haptic feedback and no clicking) but in general stays active.

Tried restarting, test inputs, changed the setting to “As Joystick” instead of “As Mouse” where I had it and that made the problem smaller but not fixed. Might just need an update to fix it or downgrade. Glad to know its not a hardware issue lol

Both my trackpads are not working well in desktop mode after the update. They are way too sensitive, always clicking and dragging icons all over the place, and not working when I actually click.

When I go to trackpads in settings there is nothing there. Sigh.
