I bought a brand new iPhone 15 (my first ever ‘first hand’ phone!) and I have 15 days left to sign up for Apple Care.

In my country it’s $15NZD a month. My country also doesn’t have an Apple Store, so not sure how it works to get it repaired/replaced.

Although I’ve got a good quality case (Spigen) and a glass screen protector, I’ve dropped it a few times and the screen protector already has a few cracks.

Money is tight, and an extra $15NZD is not something I’d like to spend if I don’t have to.

Thanks and open to all suggestions

I’ve had iPhones without AppleCare and iPhones with AppleCare. It’s very simple.

If you have a case and screen protector no it’s not worth it. If you are using without a case then yes it’s worth it.

It’s case by case. I buy AC+ w Loss & Theft, as I tend to break my screens and damage the boy whether I have a case and protector or not. I have a friend, tho, who had a 6 Plus, XS Max, and now 15 Pro Max - never had a case or screen protector on his devices, no Apple Care, and has never damaged any of his devices. So, it depends on how clumsy you are and what your phone health karma has been like!
