Not good the exhaust needs completely replaced. 3.3K bill. Car is from northeast and has about 97K on it. First is 3.3K a reasonable cost for this type of repair ? Second would be is it even worth putting that amount of $ in it at this point ?

    Go to a locally owned muffler shop. They do this all day long and will be a lot less than a mechanical shop

      I agree, go to a shop that does mostly exhaust work. Dealerships and most common mechanic shops don’t have the equipment to repair exhaust systems like a muffler shop would, so they tend to try and sell you new parts vs. repairing broken things.
