So, it looks like the UAW and strike stuff caused Stellantis–and therefore Fiat–to drop out of the LA Auto Show and SEMA. Bummer.

They had been set to reveal the US-market Fiat 500e EV at this year’s show.

Anyone know what the plan is for the Fiat 500e (US) reveal now? I really hope they still bring it here, but we need pricing, specs, and an actual commitment to launch it here first before I get too excited.

The original 500e was a blast to drive, still the most fun I’ve had to-date driving an EV.

I’ve really been growing into mine. As long as I don’t need to transport more than two people or anything particularly bulky, it’s met my needs perfectly, and it seems like I’ve been able to fix everything that was about to break. It helps that it shares so many parts with the regular 500.

Though I do have some range anxiety. I’m going to have an activity this winter that’s 24 miles away that I’m nervous about. If the updated one had 50% more range that would be perfect for me.

I’ve been following the news on this and haven’t seen anything since they pulled out of LA. They did launch the Ramcharger standalone, so I’m hoping for some standalone event soon for 500e (and Recon). I really want the convertible version, but when they recently sent 500e’s to AUS, they only sent the regular hatch, so I’m not confident.

That’s really disappointing. Have been hoping to buy one when it comes out, but with no information announced, I may have to go with something else.

Tried contacting some local dealers to get literally any information, and they’ve all ghosted me, go figure.
