I’ve had my Note 8 for around 5 years, and the battery is not holding it’s charge anymore, it’s getting pretty sluggish, and - forthe first time in 20 years - I dropped a phone and cracked the screen. Grr.

So anyway, I’ve opted for a refurb Galaxy Note 20.

All of the above is pretty irrelevant - but I just want to know how easy it will be to transfer everything from old phone to new?

I mean things like S Notes, Google Authenticator, stuff like that. I’ll have access to the Note 8, so not too worried, but wondered if there is anything specific I need to do / prepare for, etc.

It’s that long since I’ve got a new (to me) phone that I can’t remember the process!

Note 8 after the note split in 2019 follows the larger model not the base as the base note models since 2019 are the cheaper budget model doesnt represent the spirit of note. Note 10+ or note 20 ultra otherwise s23ultra
