I found that r/bmw is a lot more helpful and friendlier than the porsche guys asked a genuine question got no helpfull answers and just downvotes

Just wanted to say keep it up guys not everyone is an expert on bmw.

    Yeah, they’re pretty snobby. Worst sub by far is the legal advice sub. They basically down vote everyone, and their only advice is “get a lawyer.” Yeah, no shit, real smart comment, now how about you rub some brain cells together and converse; otherwise, why are you here??

    Porsche “community” is just a bunch of guys who can afford…well a Porsche enthusiast life. You can engage with BMW from childhood and or poverty all the way up to wealth.

    100%, I asked a question about getting a 335i or a 340i, and it was super helpful.

    Porsche sub and owners are just generally snobbish and dickish. If you don’t drive a PTS GT3, nobody cares, even though they don’t own Porsches themselves lol

    BMW is the happy medium. If you go below, you get a shit crowd. If you go above, you get a bunch of pretentious snobs
