Hey everyone, so I had my Tab S9+ for a bit over two months now. While its a good tablet, there are just so many things that honestly make me regret buying it:
-
no Samsung themes (I just don’t get it, why is it available for phones but not fpr tablets?)
-
it already makes a rattling sound when moved even though I was always really careful with it - it just sounds like super cheap quality
-
the S-pen also makes a slight rattling sound - again super cheap
-
there’s just no good cases for it. Either it’s silicon, where you have to worry about the S-pen getting damaged or dirty since theres no protection over it - just sticking on the back or you buy one of Samsungs cases which are super pricey, (imo) very ugly and just not really a variety and also seem to have low quality since the edges are already really frayed just from having it in my backpack, also they’re super ineffective because I bought the keyboard one and my Tab already has scratches on the screen…from the keys I assume?
Overall not a very good experience tbh, makes me regret spending 1k :(
Get a spigen case. It has a positive grip for the pen and covers it. I have an s8 with a spigen case and I love it.
1- You need to familiarize yourself with Good Lock by Samsung. Theme park and wonderland should get you covered.
2- 2 months in and you get some rattling sound? You need to put that warranty to good use.
3- I agree that Samsung’s cases are pricey, but you need to dig deeper …there are some okay cases out there.
I have the ZtotopCases for Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ Plus/S9 Plus 12.4 inch 2023
Look for it on Amazon, they’re pretty sturdy and decent. Obviously for non keyboard use
And get a decent tempered screen protector.
First thing I applied to mine before I even used it.
