Yeah, that dates me… I remember the OG Sim City, and remember Sim City 2000 being a massive upgrade (and later my friend getting Sim City 3000 and it being a massive upgrade).

I had the SNES version way back in the day. Lots and lots of hours put into making really bad cities!
We would put it on a Zip Disc and use external drives to play on the college Macs.
I used to leave my Amiga on overnight running this game. Loved it and A-Train.
And soon we’re getting IRL microwave power plants
Ah man I had forgotten all about Sim City 2K. So many hours played.
Simcity 2k and Syndicate were my jam.
