Does your daily driver have any interior rattles or squeaks? Does it not bother you? Do you just turn on the radio? Just wondering how it is for most folks.

Rattles or things audibly sliding around drives me nuts. Creaks bug me a little bit but nowhere near as much, and are almost a fact of life in some cars

As a third-world country denizen, what is rattles? Oh, do you mean noise to keep you awake whilst driving? It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

I’ve practically given up after 5 years of enduring it with my ‘19 Jetta. I won some battles but I definitely lost the war. I’ll just have to make sure my next car doesn’t have it.

First time I drove a giardo I thought it felt like a kit car.

Audi quoted me $450 an hour to diagnose a rattle in my door on the R8

I liked driving with the windows down more anyways

It depends. I hate vibrations, like when a rearview mirror gets loose and rattles or the sunglasses in my cupholder rattle or the cable to my dashcam gets slightly loose and starts vibrating against the windshield. Mechanical rattles from the engine or exhaust or road/wind don’t really bother me.

Not too much. I don’t like it but I am not some weird anal freak about it. I have better things to do with my time, and I also have a diamond audio amp and components to help. The amp and sub also help.

I always pack my truck a few days before any road trip and drive it to work so I can take care of any gear rattling. I will not drive with a rattle, I have to fix it.

My last car had speaker rattle and I had the dealer take the doors apart to fix it because I hated it so much.

    They drive me mad.

Luckily none of the cars I’ve spent a long time in had one. Volvo, BMW, VAG etc.

Coworker has a Peugeot and his rear door sqeaks. He doesn’t seem to be bothered by the rattle at all. It was driving me crazy. It went so far that I moved from the front passanger seat to the rear one and pulled on the door the rest of the trip so the rattle was gone.
