Lost samsung(The galaxy A32) found on the sidewalk.
Owner seemed to have disabled cell service some time after i picked it up
Here is what ive tried:
- Unlocking it, no luck at guessing the combo
- Brought it to the T-mobile store, because it used a tmobile carrier, until it was disabled. The employees said they couldn’t do anything because they are a 3rd party store and the cell service is disabled
- Nothing in the emergency contacts that i can call(except for emergency services)
- I’ve tried to text&call the number that sent voicemails to this phone many times. It seems to be an automated voicemail service.
What else can I do? Is there any programs on my PC i can unlock it with? Hopefully getting to the contacts.
You could try looking in online groups (Reddit, Facebook, Nextdoor etc.) of your city if anyone posted something about a lost phone.
No, there’s no way to remove/bypass the screen lock without factory resetting it. The only thing that I can think of to do is to check and see if the IMEI is still clean and if it is, insert an active T-Mobile SIM so that it has a data connection and then see if a message from the owner pops up on the screen. If it has a data connection, they can also remotely locate it, so maybe that would help them find it/you
Although it’s too bad someone lost their phone, but at the end of the day it’s a throw away phone. Thing is trash.
Call Sammie asap.
Atleast it’s a low end phone just get rid of if I guess.
Hold on to it until the owner reached you. I was that person good thing I left my find my phone enabled and a train conductor picked up 8 hours later letting me know to come and get it anytime at the junction port where he was stationed.
