Brightdrop failure is solely on Travis K. He was not asking the right questions and let the product team ride it all along. He wanted to portray a good picture in front of the press and CNBC but he should have remembered that this is not his other gigs where users matter. This company was purely based on product and he had no experience building actual product organization. Also, they should keep all employees who came to work for Brightdrop and fire execs to compensate for the loss. They get paid$$$ and can cruise for longer vs regular employees.
