Diminished value claim question

Hey everyone. Had a question regarding diminished value claims. Bought a new Ioniq 5 standard range and was hit only 5 months after purchase. 8k worth of damage. What would you think would be an appropriate amount for a claim? Thanks in advance

Talk to your insurance agent. They will be able to give you an idea of what to fight for and will likely help you fight for that amount.
