    V8 never made sense in a Jeep. The inline 6 HO had always been the bread and butter of performance from factory. For Jeep, this is a return to heritage.

    Well this will certainly ADD to the already well known unreliability of the jeep brand…wow what a terrible idea there fiat. Not sure why anybody buys these pieces of junk other than they look ok.

    As an avid i6 enjoyer, this is exciting.

    as an avid Jeep/Chrysler/Ram hater, why Nissan, why can’t we have an RB27.

    Honestly, I don’t think anyone buying this car will miss a V8, most of these cars will just be family haulers, I’m sure someone will offroad it, but really it’s the chassis and drive train that make the difference there.

    Does jeep not know what people buy their shitty junk ONLY because it has a v8 and the other much better cars (within the same price range) don’t have?

    All these people in here crying about losing V8s and I’m just glad the I6 is making a comeback. It really is the superior engine configuration.

    And with forced induction it works up here at 7000ft where I live too.

    There is literally no downside to this.

    Just dropping in to say, in-line 6 turbos might end up putting out more torque than a V8. That is all.
