    It’s a bit of a silly stat, because only players in a very specific position are going to have a high percentage here. Anyone who is further up the pitch will obviously have to make sideways or backwards passes more often to retain possession.

      I still think sometimes he slows our play too much. But I’m sure it is what Arteta wants aswell.

    We really need Zinchenko in the games where the team camps back

    His best games this season were against Sheffield and Burnley

    Last year he made the difference in games against Villa and Everton who were really stubborn defences

    People take the piss out of Trent when they watch him in big games because his defending is laughable at times but if you watch Lpool in games they have more possession in, more often than not it’s Trent who unlocks the defence

    They’re both double edged swords although I’d say Zinchenko isn’t as dangerous as Trent but his defending isn’t as bad, but same principle

    It’s good we have that variation with Zinny and Tomiyasu
