Factory intake ? Yes if there are no deeper spots. If the intake is after market and open filter nah I’d go seal the pipe up with duct take and plastic bag. I’d I try my damnedest to seal the exhaust tip so no water gets to the engine that way.
If you leave it an it’s going to get worse you can keep the interior from getting mold in it and dry it out. But I’d go and at least disconnect the battery.
Don’t know if any of that would help but it’s what I would do depending on choice
