Hey! I recently bought the iPhone 15pro and when I use the „focus“ in the camera App by tapping with my finger on the screen a „f“ appears in the corner. I can activate it, but I can’t find out what for. It looks like the sign for „camera aperture“ (I don’t know if this is the right word, it’s „Blende“ in German). What does it do? I didn’t find anything on the apple help pages.

    F is for focal length. F/stop= focal length / diameter of aperture. Example f stop is 2.8 so 2.8 =50mm/ diameter. 2.8/50= .056, 2.8 at 100mm is 2.8/100 = .028
