    There was one time I had replaced them myself and in the next oil change (I have lifetime oil at the dealership) they marked them as needing to be replaced in the inspection report.

    I brought it up and asked them to double check and they still said they suggest replacing. That’s when I pointed out I personally just replaced them and replaced the rotors, too. The rotors were still nice and new looking. The service rep tried to backtrack that they go off the service history.

    I stopped trusting their inspection reports after that.
