Another question, how do you wear this on non-rigid clothing? I work down south and even on office days, I wear a thin clothed shirt. This thing will just hang all saggy tit like for most people that just wear t-shirts.
Not screenless 🤷♂️
Besides the ones that the company gave out as review units and gifts to corporate friends, how many of these have actually moved to the customer base? 3?
I’m sorry but this is probably the most dumbass thing I’ve seen in the past few years. You don’t have to know much of a tech stuff to see in how many totally basic user scenarios this thing would either fail immediately or require multiple attempts to even get things right.
It doesn’t look like it is trying to work with a smart phone but replace it. To me this is a smart phone accessory at best. I don’t want a phone plan for it, I want to connect it to my iPhone and use it as a tool to lessen the amount I need to pull out my phone.
Thing is, you don’t need this thing at all if you have a phone. Humane should have just made an app which you can chat with. We wouldn’t need that either, if Siri didn’t suck. Maybe the next version will take some cues from this; there are some decent ideas here.
the projector is the stupidest idea. it’s not going to work i. daylight. it will be 150nits max.
They have an add-on laser and battery pack for daylight. If it’s too bright out it just burns the message into your skin so you can read it.
lol; and then you wait for your skin to heal for the next message.
There is a reason why only one person is using their communicator at a time on Star Trek, imagine a bus or train with everyone wearing one of these.
Fucking sound mayhem, gives me the sweats just imaging it
And a room full of people calling on their phones isn’t?
give me a glove that has a mic in the pinkey a good earpiece in the thumb, and lets me dial by pressing my fore middle and ring fingers, really thats all I want out of a cellphone.
pretty much that but in a form where I could reasonably use in outside of winter months.
