Doing regular maintenance, dealer starts hitting me with future stuff to do like wheel aligning , corrosion cleaning, but 160 to change a car engine filter sounds ridiculous, is this normal pricing?

If there is any truth to what a service director told me once, dealerships make peanuts on car sales and bloatware (accessories, insurance etc ) and overcharge the time needed for car service because it’s what actually pays the bills and makes the profits. Que the $80/hour cost when a public hospital ER doctor gets $15-20.
