Also, think of the most impressive Under 20 player so far this season.

Van de Ven’s acceleration is bonkers. Plenty of players his size have a good top speed, but being able to get there quickly on the turn is what separates him.

Basically none of us saw it coming. We all thought of him as the discount Raya. It’s been an enormous surprise.

Honestly, hate to admit it as well, but think I’d rather have him over Raya. At least so far.

      1. We had him loaned out to Union SG in Belgium, sort of a loan partnership with them. Mitoma and Undav were also there, tearing it up together. Mitoma is class now and Undav has 5 goals and 2 assists for Stuttgart in 8 matches, on loan from us. Good to see him finding his feet.

People have given szo plenty of recognition who was my number 1

also gravenberch, crazy how little Bayern fans valued him and he looks a star in the making(can’t help but see a young pogba)

I’ve been impressed with udogie as well

For me. It isn’t crazy at all for a world class like Reece to handle a young talent who is new to the league.

Yeah people have forgotten just how amazing James is because he’s always injured. With no injuries he’d be the best in the world in his position imo.

How Doku can be mentioned had one game decent one to be pocketed in next one against first decent defender in epl. He’s not worth mentioning yet.

I’ve always known how good Maddison is, but i never saw him as someone who can make Spurs a title contender. Honourable mentions of Cole Palmer, Vicario, Hojlund (UCL) and Rice looks like hes been playing for Arsenal for years

Spurs aren’t actually a title contender though. Just had a run of great form then got exposed for having no squad depth, which precisely everybody predicted would happen at some point.

Still kicked you guys on creatively like nobody has since Eriksen. He’s been that creative CM your team has needed for the last few years.

Title contenders or not, he elevated Spurs to another level. I say this reluctantly obviously because of personal feelings but there is no denying the effect Madders has had on that team.

Vicario, Van Der Ven, your new FB (I refuse to try to spell that name 😂) also haven’t hurt

Jarrad reminds a lot of John Stones when he played for us. Cool, collected defender with great technical ability. Comfortable on the ball and pushing into midfield. Looks like he’s been a starting CB for decades. And he’s playing alongside Tarkowski who is one of the most underrated CBs in the league. An experienced Branthwaite mentored by Tarkowski is going to be absolutely terrifying to play against in couple years.
