I don’t understand the benefit of releasing ref audio 2 weeks after an incident…I just picture those corrupt rats sitting at a screen rerecording the audio…it should be released immediately once a manager questions a decision, even if its privately with the club!
It’s to their own benefit. Damage control.
Tempers cool after 2 weeks, and football fans dont always have long memories. The outrage dies down, and the media circus does it’s part.
2 week later, then can still present a pretty damning clip and likely face little to no consequences.
Interestingly no audio from the Bruno incident too
It just proves they’re not serious about being transparent. If they were, they’d go over the details, release the audio, admit they fucked up and bring about change to the process.
