OMG I thought it was just me. Went insane trying to help mom with it. Got it fixed then another round of WTF. Not sure which gen it is, but was thinking of taking out next time I need target practice and giving her a modified fire stick. Just not sure it’ll be more stable.
My dad had the first generation of chromecast and it was on constantly. Turn off the tv, it’s still casting/available, on constantly, never had a problem. Mines 4 years old and has been getting worse every year. Just smells like planned obsolescence.
