Hi all, I work in lab with ~ 15 PCs, and I need to share/send files to these PCs with Windows network Workgroup, The previous AP (router) I had been terrible at this job TL-WR840N, I didn’t know why but every Network Setup I made didn’t work at all with it,

So I’m hoping to find better AP with more features that support file sharing etc.

    What makes you think the AP has any bearing on that beyond the network throughput it theoretically supports? It’s not like there is a secret, rarely found feature like “enhanced Windows file sharing.”
    It’s all just shoveling data around to the AP.

    840N…wow… can’t remember how old it is, probably now any router you can get would beat it.

    Cheaper option could be Netgear WAX206.
