Does the rest of Europe and the world dislike international breaks as much as we do in England ?

I was having this discussion with friends and I think it directly correlates with the quality of the league of your country.

For example Spain England Germany will dislike them as they would prefer to see their clubs playing , but for Croatia their national team is better than their club teams so they enjoy it.

I could be totally wrong so please let me know !

Used to somewhat follow England in the past due to the familiarity with the players in the team. That all changed after joining a fan forum made up of people who are Kop season holders who live and attend games from Liverpool.

Over time I started to understand the tepid if not negative perception of international football — players going for internationals coming back injured screwing up the season, media-favoured players getting selected ahead of form amongst two of the main reasons.

Yeah, international breaks has not been something I look forward to most especially for the first reason.
