Does the rest of Europe and the world dislike international breaks as much as we do in England ?

I was having this discussion with friends and I think it directly correlates with the quality of the league of your country.

For example Spain England Germany will dislike them as they would prefer to see their clubs playing , but for Croatia their national team is better than their club teams so they enjoy it.

I could be totally wrong so please let me know !

I don’t mind international breaks. But they’re becoming so regular and half the games the int team plays are friendlies. Especially when my int team is bang below average…

They’re the worst 2 weeks ever, thank god there’s f1 this weekend. Maybe some darts.

It isn’t for everyone I know, but if you ever get a chance to go to a Premier League Darts night… do it. It’s such a good laugh. Everyone in the crowd is in stupid costumes, and it’s often louder than some prem stadiums I’ve been to on away days. It’s way more entertaining, imo than it has any right to be.

Can’t even watch my local League One side as their match has been postponed. I assume it’s due to the number of players called up.
