Offense wins games, defense wins championships.
Attack wins you games. Defense wins you titles.
If there are lots of draws, sure.
But you can’t win titles in the 90 point era with draws. Draws lose you titles.

United punching above their weight majorly. Onana was a good signing.
Our defensive spine with Rice, Saliba and Gabriel is very strong, 3 real monster defenders. Going forward I don’t think we’ve been great but our defending has mostly been very good.

I’m struggling to think of a goal against us that either wasn’t a huge individual mistake or some questionable call/deflection.
Our defense has gone up another level this season.
Most of this xG is also from the first few games when Arteta experimented with Partey at RB or not playing Gabi Me.
And then when I say that Raya has barely been tested I get downvoted
defense is top notch, always feel safe with rice/partey in front of gabriel & saliba, it’s the attacking part that let’s us down but hopefully arteta sees that trossard should start over nkhetiah when fit no exceptions
Just need to start peppering teams on a weekly basis
Here’s hoping that we don’t have the wheels falling out of the car like we did at the end of last season when we lost Saliba
