I know it’s early in the season, but with City dropping points against Chelsea today, Mikel Arteta’s words last week, about little things costing us the league seem to be very true. If we had won the Newcastle game last week we would be sitting atop the league after today’s games. A draw would have seen us above Liverpool.

VAR needs to be revamped because if we lose the league by a point, I have a very good feeling that Arsenal may think about court action. And then of course there is the question of the Super League again. It’s really possible that VAR may just push fans to support leaving the Premier league, playing into the hands of “those” people who came knocking on a door with an idea that nobody wanted.

PGMOL it’s time to clean up your act. It’s time for referees to start refereeing again. Stop relying on VAR to get your asses out of a bind. It’s costing us the beautiful game!
