I knew what it was before I clicked. It made the craziest difference until the NLCS.
What is NLCS and what happened?
Trea Turner signed an 11 year/$300M contract with the Phillies before the 2023 season. He was horrible the first 4 months of the season. Philadelphia fans gave him a standing ovation the day after he made a horrible error to lose a game. He went on a ridiculous hot streak the rest of the season, Phillies made the playoffs but then he went cold in the round before the World Series.
Not sure why downvoted as such, but I feel like we should be doing this for our players, especially ones who aren’t fully on it. The most disliked player in the squad can be loved when performing well - Xhaka being the most obvious example. I’d rather have a Kai at the top of his game than not at all.
