Crazy this team struggles to qualify. They have at least one world class player (when healthy) at every level. If you’d have told me a year or 2 ago that Italy would struggle qualifying for Euros with Donnarumma, Barella, Jorginho, Bastoni, Chiesa etc it’d have thought you were crazy. This isn’t a Euro winning level squad. Qualifying shouldn’t be in doubt, though.
Kazahzstan, Israel and Luxembourg have more points in their groups right now than Italy does.
We’re not really struggling to qualify we are in a good position to finish second in a very tough group. England and Ukraine and even Macedonia are tournament level squads not qualifying minnows. We have been pretty solid and have also had bad luck with injuries suspensions and Mancini leaving us hanging.
