Almost half of the starters are injured yet we’re joint top having beat City, and well on our way to topping our CL group. Do people really think if we had the injuries that we currently have at the beginning of last year we would have had the same start?
The way that we play and signings that we made over the summer are designed to grind out results over a long season with with versatile players who can fill in at multiple positions. We are trying to avoid a repeat of what happened last year where 2-3 injuries completely derailed us.
