So I have been finding Lemmy has abandoned and other words lost communities due to only having one admin and then them getting banned making the whole community be unmoderated.
Is there a community that deals with Lost / Abandoned Communities?

I’m not aware of communities like this. I’ve contacted Ruud or Rudd, one of the dudes who runs Lemmy.world and he put me as a mod of the community I asked about where the creator bailed on Lemmy immediately. He was quick about it also
If it’s hosted on the lemmy world instance go to !support@lemmy.world and you’ll find info there. I believe you contact the instance admin they’ll make you a mod of an abandoned community.
I contacted the admins about one that was abandoned, I was just asking if there a Community built to log these sorts of communities to have other people step up to help take them over.
That’s something to figure out with your instance specifically, maybe it has a meta-community? On Reddit, that process goes through r/redditrequest, maybe you have a c/lemmyrequest?
