Safe to say they are a shadow of themselves last season. They are playing with no style at all. However, the only success they have had recently has been by playing counter attacking football. By counter attacking football I mean trying to build play, losing the ball, running back and staying back and hitting on the break. When they do have the ball it’s like Fifa, they are just playing forward passes and hoping it works. No method to the madness.

It’s identical to how they played under Ole.

Looking at Liverpool over the last few games you’d think that Rodgers was at the wheel.

The argument against Ole was the lack of tactics, he was an outstanding man manager but it was hero ball where you just hope Rashford or Bruno win the game.

Since sacking him they’ve had Ragnick who was arguably the worst manager I’ve ever seen. He had no tactics and no man management skills.

Now it’s ETH who should be a tactician but appears to be an absolute moron and picks players like Lindelof and Antony and has ended up with hero ball but centered around McTominay.

We’re all aware Man United have an utterly abysmal squad and that Bruno Fernandes and Rashford pretty much destroy 95% of footballing systems but Jesus Christ, I’d expect more in the way of tactics/ gameplan from someone like ETH.

Still not sure how United aren’t playing the Poch Spurs/ Conte Chelsea 3-4-3 which is the simplest way to get the best out of attackers.

Because the key players are built for counter attack. Bruno, Rashford, etc they better with counter attack style. Tenhag can force them into his style and see if they can change to fit the system like Arteta did. They might lose badly but I can see a better outcome in the long run.

At least with Ole, they’re good at coming from behind. Now they’re just coming.

Well besides the fact that the entire region of Europe is against them. VAR has hurt Man United as much as they’ve hurt themselves. Another important component is how United has literally been without the back line the entire season. Shaw-Martinez-Varane-AWB is their best starting four and by far.

Most likely you never watched us under Ole and havent watched a full 90 minute game under Ten Hag either if you think we are playing the same way. United are pressing really high and winning a lot of balls as well. Ten Hag wants us to play like early Klopp liverpool. Anyone with eyes can see what he is trying to do. Eye test backs it up for 30 minutes a game, and stats back it up as well, United are top 3 this season in basically every pressing and gegenpressing stat you can find. United also have the most balls won in opposition half of any PL team this year. I do not remember us being anything above top 8 in terms of pressing under Ole. Just because it’s not clicking due to multitude of reasons, doesn’t mean there’s no intention. Ten Hag last season largely abandoned his playstyle and played counter attack (even still for 4 month period from November to Feb, United were best counterpressing team in Europe). Players do not have the stamina to keep up that intensity for full 90, injuries to various positions have not helped either, but Ten Hag is persisting which is fine for me, I do not get this narrative that a multi billion dollar club with one of the most exciting up and coming coaches in recent years doesn’t have a playstyle. Yeah it’s not working at this moment, our build up play is still largely shit but yes there is a specific game plan and playstyle, and with time I think we will improve so don’t you worry

It’s what happens when you are a big team mate. People want to talk about you.

One day you might know what it feels like.

Massive mistake for getting rid of Ronaldo too, I will never understand how a club will point out Ronaldo being the problem when he’s scoring that many goals, what a joke honestly.

Solution is at the academy and young player who are willing to improve not players with millions a weak salaries, and the club needs a football manager who could manage and knows squad needs!
