Apologies if this has been posted many times before, but I was lucky enough to get UCL tix for our game against Copenhagen. I will be traveling from the US and it will be my first time at the Allianz. Will there be any activities around the arena before the game? Any tips I should know for my first trip to the Allianz? Same here, I’m from the US and will be over for the Copenhagen game! From my past experience, I’ll clue you into the transport situation to and from the match. I’ll presume you’ll be taking the U-Bahn, and if so, just be prepared for packed trains to and from the game. I’m talking standing room squeezed in like sardines packed. The walk from the U-Bahn station closest to the Arena (Frottmaning) is a bit far, 10-15 minute maybe. And the lines for the ride back into the city after the game were probably 45 mins to an hour when I was there last. If you’re able, as soon as the final whistle blows and are so inclined, haul ass out and beat as many people to the lines as you can.
How about lingering at the stadium for a while after the game before heading back?
