Was Martinelli vs Juanlu as bad as Bale vs Maicon

Juanlu is a youngster and a winger filling in at fullback.
Maicon at the time was regarded one of if not the best fullback in Europe at that time.
I’d say yes in terms of how Martinelli demolished him in the 1v1.
He wont get the same plaudits though because Seville didn’t disrespect us a team so made sure to have defensive numbers back which makes it hard to create/ score.
I’ll add onto that though his final ball was a bit off at times and when it was good there didn’t seem to be anybody on the end of it. As a team we could’ve taken advantage of the situation a lot better.
Juanlu is young and not primarily a defender so I’d say it’s less embarrassing.

yesterday we had gotten rid of two of the most glaring weaklinks in form of nketiah and ramsdale.
so we had only 1 clear weak link left in the XI and that was havertz.
what i dislike the most about havertz is his unwillingness to attack the ball, just look at some of the crosses nelli put in while havertz is just watching. its like he can only attack the ball if it falls straight on his head.
in addition his complete and utter timidness. when he tries to combine with saka, nelli etc he looks like a 14 year old kid who wants to shy away from responsibility.
I hated Xhaka as a player, i found him to be terrible technically both offensively and defensively, i found him to have severe limitations in so many phases of the game I thought an upgrade would be easy.
and somehow we have bought an even worse version of him. Hopefully he either dramatically improves soon or we sell him.
