We know about things like FFP and home grown talent. But the teams at the bottom of the table generally come up one season from the Championship and then go down the next season.
How would you change this? Or should it be changed?
I still think City are going to be hard to beat this season which would make it about a million league titles in a row. It’s fair but is it ‘fair’ to all the other teams in the bottom half?
So this would need global cooperation rather than just the premier league but abolish the transfer system.
Teams could trade players for players, or, you could sign free agents, but you can’t buy a player off another team.
This would allow a team who had a good group of players to keep that team together and potentially have a shot at a title as the players gain experience. Or if a Man City wants to sign a star player off a team they have to give up 2 or 3 good players to that team, allowing that team to get better also.
I know it would never happen but I think this would truly even up the league and make it better.
