Look I’m a City fan, but even I can see the media has gone over the top today. The managers United have had should have achieved more but it seems the system is broken.

    He’s a good manager but has made mistakes with signing certain players and selection errors.

    If the structure was good and employed people above him who were actually competent then you might see something better.

    Ultimately the players will/starting to turn on him and the cycle will continue, sack the manager, hire temporary manager , hire new manager and have good first year. Rinse and repeat
