Hi guys

I am a complete newbie when it comes to the networking. I do have a router which is managed by my ISP, and a couple of devices like any other household these days.

Would you please be so kind and enlighten me a bit? Why is it beneficial to have a home network and how to create one at home? Any special stuff required?

Thanks!

One device, connected to another - like a router (via cable/Wi-Fi etc) is a network. And it’s at home so you have a home network.

Having extra switches, Wi-Fi extenders, access points, Ethernet cables etc are all just extras to make a bigger/better network to ensure all devices can connect for the best experience
