This is the first Coppa Italia game i’ve watched so far this year. Normally Bologna can draw a pretty good crowd for its Serie A games. I get its a Tuesday night, but it still seems like there should be more people. Any other reasons why?
Sadly no one cares about the Coppa Italia, also tonight is Halloween and tomorrow is a national holiday.
It’s a tournament that, historically, doesn’t draw much attention generally. Everyone mostly fields bench players until they reach the semifinals: the big sides have enough depth to attempt reaching it that way, and if they don’t it’s not a big deal, the weaker ones know they probably won’t reach the semis, until they struck gold and don’t meet any of the big clubs, and it’s not expected of them to make big runs in the cup.
Was out for Halloween in Quarto Dei Mille near Genoa and the game wasn’t even on at the bar LOL
It’s an holiday tomorrow, people have better things to do.
Unrelated to your question but does anybody know the name of the song Bologna play at the end of all their home matches? It always grabs my attention when I hear it
L’anno che verrà by Lucio Dalla
Grazie mille Forza Milan
Halloween, a lot of people busy with children’s parties, holiday tomorrow so maybe someone went to a little trip, maybe an opponent with not too much appeal, so not a “ordinary/casual fans” match, only ultras/strong fans care about going to the stadium for these matches.
I prefer to sleep
No one cares and it’s all the games are on tv (RAI) anyway.
I was there yesterday, basically all the people knows that this club just play with young players, not the best one… so you know that you are not going to see a great match
When you reach quarter finals or semi finals it’s a bit different, but not Vs Hellas Verona
