Hello
Need some help. I have an older WIFI Extender that Rogers (Canada) gave when we joined em, it is the RE450 (released around 2016). Been using it to get some coverage to the back of my house, as my Rogers Modem/Router is at the front of the house and no real place else to put it, so coverage is bad at the back of my house.
I use Powerline for 2 TVs in my house for better connection due to use, while the other 2 and all devices are on the WIFI/Extender.
Anyways, just wondering if it is still worth while to get a WIFI Extender with WIFI 6/7 to give better speeds and range or should I go mesh?
Also, my current extender is about 8-10 meters away from my router, just up stairs, about 2 feet down from the router in terms of height
With Mesh, how exactly does it work? Do I need to go into Bridge mode on my Rogers Modem/Router, or can it just be seen similar to a WIFI Extender, connect it to the current network and it will expand my network for wider coverage?
On that, what is the best option? Just want great coverage and better speeds

Just to check… No coax lines available in the rear of the house? (If there are, a wired MoCA connection could allow use of wireless APs rather than an extender. Might offer better connectivity than the Powerline links, as well.)
