I was watching yesterday’s eventful match between Wolves and Newcastle. And one thing that caught my eye was the fluidity of Wolves’ front three - specifically between Hee Chang Wang and Cunha as Neto seemed tied down to the right.

They put on a show last night as the pair switched positions and caused mayhem for the Newcastle midfield and defense.

The three of them looked in tune with each other, manipulated space really well, and were individually superb too.

Gary O’Neil has got some praise in the past week and I think it is deserved.

I truly feel that he is getting the best out of his team and people underestimated the talent in the Wolves squad.

Although Neto’s injury will set them back a bit, I expect O’Neil to come up with a perfect solution.

Hopefully, they can continue the season in this trajectory and finish with a good league ranking.

I watched Neto against Liverpool. He was the best player on the pitch until he got tired. He had an excellent first half.

He had me worried every time he got the ball. His dribbling was superb and Wolves only started to slip when Cunha missed that free header. Great player, there’ll probably be clubs in for him in January.

We’ve been linked with him for quite some time. Although I think he will move in the summer and not the January window

Neto would be perfect sub for Saka. He is electric. The only thing I worry are his injuries. Imagine having Martinelli/Trossard and Saka/Neto…

When I watched him, it pulled up memories of Martinelli making the Liverpool backs look foolish. Particularly TAA.
