I understand Chelsea hasn’t been themselves for a while and we like to banter them but it’s literally strange seeing teams getting points there like it’s nothing. I’m not even trying to banter but Arsenal have better record at Bridge in recent years than Chelsea themselves. It’s crazy when you deepen it. Like what has happened? Even when teams struggle, usually home games are a bit advantageous. Look at United, they are shit but they have decent record at home for most part.

I think Chelsea are trying to build an identity that will take time to resonate with the fans. The squad has been built from scratch. Most of the players are just gelling together - especially the forward line.

As a Chelsae fan myself, I know that the fanbase has given a lot of time for the club. However, unfortunately, I think the fans need to be more patient with this young squad. Poch needs to work with his team, and might I add, a fully fit squad.

Until then, these results will continue. And that is the unfortunate truth.

Most parts of the squad isn’t that bad, in terms of performances you can see the potential of these players and usually the games are dominant but they gambled on not having an established striker most likely because Nkunku behind Jackson seemed good enough for a while but then he got injured and yeah

I suspect come January we will either go in for Toney or, more likely, the Stuttgart striker Guirassy as he only have a release clause of 17.5 million and is establishing himself as an excellent striker. Going off the top of my head, he has 14 goals in 9 games I believe, I’ll edit once I’ve double-checked.

Edit: It’s 14 goals in 8 games, a very good conversion rate. Especially considering Jackson only scored 12 in 38 at Villareal.
