Wolves play such entertaining football and that match against Newcastle was exhilarating. Every time I’ve watched wolves this season they play such free flowing football despite being in a “relegation scrap”. It’s a great thing to see and the fact they can take points off teams like city and Newcastle show they have massive potential to do great things. Hope nothing but the best for them in the future.
Neto.
We wont be without neto. I hope it isnt long term
All that relegation scrap talk was nonsense peddled by lazy journos who knew nothing about Wolves.
I actually saw people saying we were going to get relegated because we sold Jimenez, Traore, Moutinho etc as if they hadn’t been turgid for about 2 seasons and well past due to be sold.
Most of us weren’t convinced by Gary O’Neill and i’m still not 100% convinced, but we are finishing comfortable midtable and playing some good football, scoring goals consistently for the first time in about 4 seasons. So its not a bad time to be a Wolves fan.
If it wasn’t for some seriously dubious VAR decisions like against Luton, and tonight against Newcastle, we’d be 6th/7th right now.
Best we’ve played since Nuno, I reckon. I also wasn’t convinced early season, but I’m behind Gary now.
UTW!
Because pep has unlocked the korean guy
I love how Hwang Hee Chan has become “the Korean guy”. Almost sounds badass
The Korean Zombie but rated PG
Since they officially use “The Korean Zombie” to refer to him in the UFC instead of his real name, I’m just imagining Hwang’s jersey having “The Korean Guy” on it one day🤣
TKG!!!
Wolves always play with loads of heart and energy. The just lack a consistent end product.
I’ve maintained that front 3 of cunha, hwang and Neto and even with podence and when traore was there they would run riot in any other league.
Play good football simple
I think a lot of people didn’t know where the goals were going to come from. We knew they had talent but didn’t think they could get the goals. They always were going to try and attack and win but guys have really stepped up and putting it in the back of the net.
I think Wolves are a lot better than media and fans give them credit for. You give that team a solid 9 I feel they are in a European fight this season.
Neto is gone in the summer if he keeps this up. Guy is just something else. Hwang is actually doing well too.
They easily could’ve won this game imo. That pen was soft and they had some clear chances that could’ve put them in the win column.
Wolves definitely deserved to win tonight on balance of play, and I think if Neto hadn’t pulled up with an injury mid-chance they probably would have, looking at how the game was going at that point.
Their second goal especially was superb. I do think they lack a genuine goal threat long term though, and they are susceptible to errors and frailty at the back so they’re not going to be world beaters. But yes, very fun to watch!
Hard to answer the question since they are not entertaining.
This is what’s so great about the premier league right now, the talent and coaching is unreal!! You can’t just outspend teams to win there has to be organization and chemistry, a lot of teams have found it and are at least as good as teams outspending them.
They just went toe to toe with Newcastle a top 6 side and had the better of it. Granted Newcastle have a few players out but still. Wolves sold half there squad ex manger ran away and O’Neil jumped at the chance to take it. He’s doing a great job
Well, this season is substantially more entertaining than the last few. It was time to turn the page on a previous era, and it seems like we have a solid plan for moving forward.
Edit: also, the way Cunha and Neto (and on occasion RAN) make runs is absolutely electric!
As a toon fan …wolves play some of the best football.Ive seen this season…fast pacy very dangerous on the counter …some cracking players .
