Hey fam! Just experienced an amazing night here and Im thinking to do some shopping. So I wonder is there a guaranteed tax if I don’t prepay it? Or if I prepaid it, but actually it has no charge, would I get refund? Is there anyone who had bought from outside the UK can help me? Thanks in advance!
Ayy fellow Malaysian. It says unpaid because takes are at customs. If you’re lucky it will pass without getting checked. If you’re not, you’ll get a call to pay the tax before release. Usually there’s no change if you just say for personal use but you could end up paying anything between 6-10%.
