Chelsea started off the season poorly but recently they’ve picked up good results. The quality of the play had improved and they’ve got an inform attack of Mudryk, Palmer and Sterling (once Nkunku returns from injury it will be stronger.)

So I wanted to know if you guys think Chelsea is genuinely back or if this bit of form will drop off. Tell me what you think!

I’d say that their overall play is not bad but there is no finisher in the club. This does matter a lot.

They’re somewhere between Wolverhampton and Brighton right now. They have spent a lot of money on some talented players, but I wouldn’t call them anything above mid table. You can expect them to finish between 8-12 unless they really make a change in january.

I think if they string a few decent results together then they could probably push on and secure mid table.

I think yall are fcked honestly, especially looking at your upcoming games. Losing today was bad. Mid table for sure unless you start taking away the 3 pts against decent teams

Nic Jackson starts, they play shit, coz they’re playing with 10 men. That dude had no awareness, no positioning, no finishing, no tactical ability. Basically, he’s like a referee to the game, has a touch or two in between. Without him, palmer sterling and Gallagher all try to get forward and go for goal. Take him out and they’ll play brilliant. When nkunku comes back, he will automatically come and replace this guy and Chelsea will start to threaten again

I think yes. They have no consistency, which is common for mid-table sides. If it was isolated to the start of this season then perhaps you could argue poor ‘form’, but they finished 12th last year. Forget the traditional big clubs, Chelsea can’t even compete with Newcastle, Brighton, Villa - who all look miles better. If there are a solid 8/9 teams better than you, you’ll finish mid-table.

Yes, they are playing at their level, wolves create so much, but end up mid because they cant finish it, same for chelsea, dont be fooled by the badge
