Hello, I currently have a 24x 2.5" SFF R740xd with all three risers. (total eight vertical PCI-e slots)

As 3.5" HDDs are much much much cheaper than 2.5", I was planning to use a mid bay expansion (Part No. F7DF5) and mount 4x HDDs on it.

For this, I removed Riser 2 & 3, as they interfere with the mid plane. As I had a BOSS card and a H740P controller, I mounted both of them into Riser 1 (which is in the opposite direction of the PSU). Then I connected the power, and the SAS cable to the front panel.

However, the error occurs: The storage BP2 SAS A0 cable is not connected, or is improperly connected.

I’m desperately seeking for help. I tried a lot to find any documentations actually stating which connector & place I should use, but no luck until now. I would appreciate any means of help.

Thanks in advance.

BP2 is the rear storage backplane if I am not mistaken and the connectors are on the board near the power supply.
