This lemmy instance was started as a hedge against an eventual elimination and removal of the original /r/wallstreetbets if and when Reddit eventually goes public (they wont be very happy the DD’s I’ve been ready to post). The goal of the creator of this instance was and continues to be to maintain the original spirit of WSB, and to provide a place for the community should the worst happen.
