It was fine and enjoyable, but I don’t understand why it gets such high praise. And I don’t think I’d go out of my way to watch it again.
What am I missing?

Barbarian (2022)
Sounds good, thank you!
That really puts the wedding ring on Mr Hands
Not sure if I’m getting wooshed here, but in case you’re serious:
You’re adding percentages of two different groups
It’s nonsensical to add 62+36 and wonder about the “missing” 2
Maybe he’ll get the “boys being boys” case dismissal
Are you advocating torture?
Should’ve been much further away. Altoona, PA is only ~7hr from NYC by transit
Transit options do be pretty bad in Brian Thompson’s America
I watched Jon Stewart interview someone recently and the first word out of her mouth for every single question was “Listen”. At first it was a quirk but quickly became irritating as hell.
Ooh there’s a youtube video? First I’ve heard of this. Do you have a link handy?
How about posting a gofundme (or whatever) to collect whatever money they want to not snitch
Fair point, updated.
I hope that’s effective enough; on my client it probably wouldn’t save me :/
In theaters: Heretic, and before that The Substance
Recently at home:
Saturday Night
Man on the Moon
I saw the TV Glow
Edit: for line breaks
Total rewrite if we’re being honest with ourselves
It’s a Kelly comic, facts aren’t relevant
Me not that kind of orc!
Needs more saddam
Fair enough.
When it came out (or shortly after) I remember it was getting a lot of praise and chatter about awards for the cast, script, and direction. (The performances were great all around, no shade there). So that’s what I was thinking of when referring to it’s high praise - But it seems overall opinion has tempered over time.
Glad it has an audience though, cheers.
