You’re right. Perhaps I’ve been too focused on American Folk Punk. Next week, I’ll be focusing on gender-diverse members of the scene, but I think it would be awesome to have a week dedicated to international folk/punk. Thank you for your response.

2·3 months agoI’d like there to be a balance. The memes are a good way to get more eyes in the community initially, but I’d like to slowly switch over to focus more on music as the community grows. Right now, I’ve got a featured song of the day, we just finished making an introductory folk punk playlist, and we’re getting started on a deep cuts list.

Just looked into it. Yikes. It’s just a sad situation all around. Mental illness, trauma, drugs, and a whirlwind relationship. Poor decisions were indeed made.
